Abstract:
The purpose of the invention is to provide a tool for easily mounting a non-pierced earring which looks like a pierced earring, can be secured to an earlobe by the elastic restoring force thereof, and does not cause pain, without damaging the earring. The present invention is a tool 5 for mounting a non-pierced earring having a pierced appearance to an earlobe, the non-pierced earring including a U-shaped connecting part 2 comprising an elastic wire and a pair of earpieces wider than the connecting part 2, each of which being provided on respective ends of the connecting part 2 such that principal surfaces thereof face each other. The tool 5 includes a pair of levers 6, 7 which are joined together by a fulcrum shaft to enable front edges thereof to open and close. The levers have guiding portions capable of guiding an earlobe therethrough on the front edges or near the front edges and have a pair of projections 9, 10 on the front edges or between the front edges and the fulcrum shaft at a position different from the position of the guiding portions. The projections can be inserted into the connecting part 2, and the spacing between the outer surfaces of the projections is smaller than the spacing between the inner surfaces of the guiding portions when the front edges are open.
