Abstract:
The present invention relates to a mouthpiece for sleep and, more particularly, to a mouthpiece for sleep, comprising: a body portion (A) comprising a horizontal base portion (10) shaped to correspond to a dentition, edge portions (20) that surround the periphery of the base portion (10) while being perpendicular to the base portion (10), an upper dentition receiving portion (30) formed above the base portion (10), and a lower dentition receiving portion (30') formed below the base portion (10); a handle (B) formed at the center of the front surface of the body portion (A); and multiple through-holes (C) formed along the horizontal base portion (10) such that air circulates. The present invention is particularly advantageous and useful as follows: a mouthpiece suited to an individual's dentition is simply fabricated and used such that snoring and bruxism can be prevented without any side effect, such as a dentition change during use, thereby inducing deep sleep; a handle is formed on the mouthpiece such that the mouthpiece can be worn in a sanitary manner; a string is connected to a ring formed on the handle and is tied around the neck during sleep, thereby removing any concern that the mouthpiece may move pass the throat; the mouthpiece has a simple structure and can be stably used for a long period of time without malfunctioning; the mouthpiece has a long life and is inexpensive to fabricate; and the mouthpiece can be fabricated easily and conveniently and used by people from all walks of life, thereby providing excellent economical merits.
