Abstract:
This moving body is driven by electric power transmitted wirelessly from a non-contact power supply device provided with a power-transmitting resonator that transmits electric power by means of a non-contact power supply system, wherein: the moving body is provided with a power-receiving resonator that receives electric power transmitted by the power-transmitting resonator, a power storage unit that stores electric power received by the power-transmitting resonator, an electric motor operated by electric power stored in the power storage unit, a controller that controls the driving of the electric motor, and at least two vehicle wheels that are driven independent of each other by the electric motor, that are provided with a first moving shaft and a second moving shaft having a different axis line orientation from the first moving shaft, and that move the moving body along the first moving shaft and the second moving shaft; the vehicle wheels move over a floor surface; and when the moving body has moved into a power supply target area, the controller controls the electric motor and moves the moving body in a planar direction on the basis of power reception status information indicating the status of power reception by the power-receiving resonator.
