Abstract:
An MT ferrule structure comprising a ferrule body (10). A front segment of an interior thereof is a fiber cladding channel (1) used to position and fix a fiber cladding. A left end and a right end of the ferrule body (10) are provided with guide holes (3) extending in a front-back direction. A rear segment of the interior of the ferrule body (10) is provided with a fiber coating channel (2) used to fix a fiber coating. A guide channel (12) is provided as a transition between the fiber cladding channel (1) and the fiber coating channel (2). The top and the bottom of the ferrule body (10) are both closed. An end of the interior of the ferrule body (10) is provided with a glue dispensing port (4). The ferrule body (10) of the MT ferrule structure does not comprise a glue dispensing window (5), and the top and the bottom of the ferrule body (10) are closed, such that the ferrule body (10) has high strength. The fiber cladding channel (1) and the fiber coating channel (2) are provided inside the ferrule body (10). The fiber cladding channel (1) fixes the fiber cladding, and the fiber coating channel (2) fixes the fiber coating, such that optical fibers are well protected. In addition, the guide channel (12) is provided as a transition between the channels, thereby improving protection of the optical fibers, and improving product reliability.
