Abstract:
The present invention relates to a multi-band Doherty amplifier using a Schiffman phase shifter and, more particularly, to a multi-band Doherty amplifier using a Schiffman phase shifter, wherein the Schiffman phase shifter is applied to a Doherty amplifier so as to enable a narrow-band Doherty amplifier to be used in a wideband or multi-band. A multi-band Doherty amplifier using a Schiffman phase shifter according to the present invention comprises: a power divider which divides an input signal and provides the divided input signals to two paths; a carrier amplifier and a peaking amplifier, each of which amplifies the signal divided by the power divider; and a Schiffman phase shifter which generates a 90-degree phase difference signal at an input terminal or an output terminal, whereby a single Doherty amplifier is enabled to be easily used in a multi-band/multi-mode so as to lower design difficulty and promote the degree of utilization.
