Abstract:
The problem addressed by the present invention is, when detecting changes in degradation state such as cracks by imaging with a plurality of high-resolution cameras in a periodic inspection of a structure such as a concrete bridge, to be able to automatically perform a position, orientation, and dimension alignment and comparison among images captured at an interval of time at a high precision. To solve the problem, the present invention has the configuration as described below. An imaging system uses a plurality of cameras, represents a specific range of an image group in one coordinate system using alignment markers or common features of a captured subject among a plurality of images that image a structure that is the objective by means of the plurality of cameras, which have equivalent resolutions, and furthermore performs imaging by means of the plurality of cameras at a different time and similarly represents in one coordinate system a specific range of the image group captured at the time. At least two static markers or features are set that have the same position on a subject even between captures separated by time at a portion of the structure that is the subject across a wide range, the at least two static markers or features on the subject are detected in an image in the specific range of the captured images, a coordinate conversion process is performed on the coordinates of the at least two static markers or features in one coordinate system of a specific range of the captured images by applying the same coordinate values separated by time separately corresponding to the at least two static markers or features, and thus a correction value is obtained to the same coordinate system separated by time for the entirety of the captured images.
