A multi-dimensional camera device (100) and a light homogenizing element (21) and systems (30A, 30B) thereof, an electronic equipment (40), an application terminal (800) and a method. The application method for the application terminal (800) comprises: acquiring two-dimensional image information of a target scene; acquiring dimension-enhanced information of the target scene by at least one dimension-enhanced camera unit (20), wherein the light homogenizing element (21) of the dimension-enhanced camera unit (20) provided with a random regularized microlens array (211) modulates light beams (101) emitted from the multi-dimensional camera device (100), so as to form a uniform light field within a required field angle range to illuminate the target scene, microlens units (210) of the microlens array (211) being regularly arranged in a non-periodically manner; and acquiring multi-dimensional image information of the target scene on the basis of the two-dimensional image information and the dimension-enhanced information.
