Abstract:
A multi-functional engine and a motor tricycle. The multi-functional engine comprises: a heat engine (16), a built-in transmission mechanism (17), a built-in reversing mechanism (18), and a built-in sub-transmission mechanism (19) which are connected vertically in sequence; the built-in transmission mechanism (17) comprises a primary shaft (171) and a secondary shaft (172), a plurality of pairs of gear pairs being provided between the main shaft (171) and the secondary shaft (172), the connection between the gear pairs, the main shaft (171) and the secondary shaft (172) being in an axially fixed movable connection, two adjacent gear pairs, along with a synchronizer (7) provided therebetween, forming one gear shift unit (21), the gear shift units (21) being axially arranged between the main shaft (171) and the secondary shaft (172). Such an engine has increased lifetime and provides improve interchangeability.
