Abstract:
Provided is a multi-layer film having a structure in which at least a layer (X), a layer (Y), and a layer (Z) are laminated adjacent to each other in the stated order, with the layer (X) serving as an outermost layer, such that: the layer (X) is formed from a resin composition (A) containing, as a main component, a vinyl-alcohol-based polymer (a) having a melting point of less than 150°C; the layer (Y) includes, as a main component, an adhesive resin (B) having a melting point of less than 150°C; the layer (Z) includes, as a main component, an olefin resin (C) having a melting point of less than 150°C; and the resin composition (A) contains 25-1500 ppm of alkali metal ions (b). Such a multi-layer film is suitably applied as a gas barrier film due to having an exceptional external appearance and inter-layer adhesiveness even while having a vinyl-alcohol-based copolymer as an outermost layer.
