Description

Multi-layer wooden adornment in the shape of a heart. The heart consists of one or more layers. The heart remains in the same shape independent of the number of layers. Each layer can stand by itself. All the layers can be combined into a heart in the functionality of a puzzle.

The materials used is wood. Personalization of every layer can be done by painted layers and engravement.

Purpose is to illustrate a happening and memorize personal events that can be extended with more layers as new events occur.

The design of the multi-layer wooden heart shows the same shape of the heart independent of the number of layers and constructed in such a way that the heart can stand independently as an individual layer but also independent of the number of layers added to the first layer of heart.

The production can be done in batches via a CNC-machinery using the design. The finalization activities consist of rounding, shuffling and painting of the layer(s). All activities can be also performed handcrafted.

The problem we solve is we created a heart design and adornment that can be extended with multiple layers without changing the initial shape and functionality and that can remain independently standing in a vertical position.
