Abstract:
In order to provide a multi-level liquid reservoir-type condensation evaporator capable of being smaller in size and suppressing a decline in condensation efficiency, and an air separation device equipped with said multi-level liquid reservoir-type condensation evaporator, the present invention provides a multi-level liquid reservoir-type condensation evaporator equipped with a heat exchange core provided with a heat exchange unit formed by stacking evaporation and condensation channels which are partitioned into multiple levels, and also equipped with liquid reservoir units for storing a liquid which is supplied to and flows to said evaporation channels, and a liquid connecting channel through which the liquid in said liquid reservoir units flows from an upper liquid reservoir unit to a lower liquid reservoir unit, said liquid reservoir units being formed for each evaporation channel partitioned into multiple levels on a lateral surface which is located on at least one side of the heat exchange core in the widthwise direction and is perpendicular to the direction in which the condensation and evaporation channels are stacked, the multi-level liquid reservoir-type condensation evaporator being characterized in that the condensation channel is partitioned into at least two levels and by being further equipped with: gas headers which supply a gas to each level of condensation channel and are provided in the upper section of each level of condensation channel; a condensation introduction channel for introducing gas supplied to the gas headers to the condensation channel; liquid headers which collect the liquid produced by gas condensation and are provided in the lower section of each level of condensation channel; and a condensation discharge channel for discharging the liquid produced by condensation to the liquid headers.
