Description:
MULTI-USE CONTAINER/DISPENSER DEVICE

OBJECT OF THE INVENTION The present invention can be included in the technical field of medical and/or laboratory equipment.

More particularly, the object of the invention refers to a device which can contain and at the same time dispense, wherein the device comprises Eppendorf tubes without being required to open them to the outer environment.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION Containers for Eppendorf tubes or the like are very orthodox and therefore they tend to be handled directly, in some cases, more tubes than necessary are taken and these must be wasted even without having used them, since they were handled. Current solutions include techniques such as cover the upper part of a glass bottle with some kind of paper, which complicates the use of tubes a little since these have to be directly extracted from the bottle by hand, or place some of them onto the paper used as a protecting cover; thereby, these would not be very reliable if they became contaminated before performing the test. Some related ideas of systems to contain these types of tubes, have a mechanism comprising a fixed base and a lever, comprising in turn three fastening elements for placing different bottles. A drawback of this mechanism is that if a tube of a specific measure is required to be used and not the three of them at the same time, those bottles not being required at that moment shall have to be closed and a determined lid shall have to be created for each of them. DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The present invention refers to a device with detachable containing tubes and a fixed base intended for containing and dispensing Eppendorf tubes or the like, wherein the containers are mounted on corresponding rings.

The device of the invention comprises a support, intended to be fixed to a base. The support has two holes at the centre thereof which, when the frame is mounted onto the base by means of a "leg" or plate serving as attaching point, is coaxial to the axis of the corresponding base. Two bolts are accommodated in such a way that the leg and the support can be attached to each other, while the rest of the bolts join the base with the leg. The bolt comprises in turn an outer end being manually actuated. Therefore, an aspect of the invention refers to a container and dispenser device comprising:

- a support fixed to the base of the device by means of a plate; the support comprising adjustable rings perpendicularly fixed to the support; and

- container-dispenser tubes comprising:

o a lid at the upper end of each container tube; and o a rotating wheel at the lower end of each container tube; characterized in that each container tube can be detached from the device and is fastened thereto by means of adjustable rings in the support of the device.

The device comprises at least three semicircular hoops or rings intended for fastening the container-dispenser. Said rings may be adjusted by means of individual engagements at each end of the rings, which are attached through a central piece. Each container tube comprises a rotating wheel for dispensing the content inside the tube, by means of a crank opening system comprising:

• divisions, in order to allow partial extraction from the tubes contained in the dispenser;

· a central bolt, which allows attaching the wheel to the container- dispenser tube with the help of an adjustable nut.

• a manually actuated crank the operation of which allows rotation of the wheel and passage of the tubes content to the outside. The semicircular hoops or rings found in the supporting frame are pre-welded to said support. In order to fix the container to said frame, adjustable hoops are used which are attached thereto by means of a central piece, which is in turn divided into two so as to provide for individual fitting to both ends of the hoop, those ending in ordinary threaded ends, this causing an engagement of both engagements and thus the intended fitting. The fitting degree referring to the containing tubes can be adjusted and is established by the user through the engagements. The rotating wheels that the tubes comprise may be exchangeable for use thereof in different types of requirements or according to the demands of the final user.

The device disclosed is manually coupled so it provides for easy use and maintenance.

DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

FIG 1 .- It shows a whole front view of the container-dispenser device with a base and support.

FIG. 2.- Side view of the rotating wheel. PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION The following is a description of a preferred embodiment based on the attached figures. FIG. 1 shows the container-dispenser device comprising a support (1 ) being fixed to the base of the device (5) by means of a central plate (4), usually by means of bolts habitually used for fixing the base (5) and the support (1 ) to their corresponding axis. The support (1 ) comprises two holes for bolts to pass through, intended to be coaxial to the axis of the base (5).

The container-dispenser device also comprises a container-dispenser tube (6) accommodated in the adjustable rings (3) located in the support (1 ), and it also comprises a lid (2) to prevent contaminants from entering and it comprises: a lower end with a rotating wheel (7) being preferably manually actuated.

In FIG. 2 the rotating wheel (7) is divided radially. Each space created in the rotating wheel (7) thanks to the divisions, allows a certain amount of content to exit from the tube. This wheel is mounted or coupled to the lower part of the tube through an ordinary threaded bolt (71 ) which rests on a small hole created onto the tube and is adjusted by means of a common nut (72). The rotating wheel (7) is manually actuated with a crank (73).
