Title:
MULTICHAMBER TURBO ENGINE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/1993/010332
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A turbo engine is provided with several sequentially configured chambers (18a,b, 19, 29, 30a,b, 27) in which intake, precompression, final compression, ignition, combustion, expansion and gas discharge take place in parallel during one revolution. The gas flow through the individual chambers is controlled symmetrically in rotation in the logic of this engine via a central gear shaft (52) by gear wheel transmissions (53a,b,c, 15, 17, 39, 40, 41) and by cylinders (3, 22) and pistons (1, 2, 11, 23, 24, 25) which rotate in/about the chamber(s). It is expected that the configuration and mode of operation described will significantly improve efficiency by comparison with conventional engines and thereby considerably reduce fuel consumption and environmental damage. The design of the engine offers many possibilities for further development and optimization of all the operating parts.
