Abstract:
The multidirectional input device of the present disclosure has a case, a movable body attached to the case so as to be able to move in a plurality of directions about a predetermined neutral position, a first position-detecting unit for outputting a first signal corresponding to the position of the movable body, a second position-detecting part for outputting a second signal when the movable body is in the neutral position, and a control unit for detecting the movement direction of the movable body using the first signal. In addition, the control unit corrects a determination threshold value for detecting the movement direction in accordance with the first signal and the second signal.
