Description:

"MULTIFUNCTION PORTABLE STOVE WITH INFRARED CERAMICS SLAB"

The present innovation refers to a multifunction portable stove working with pierceable gas cartridge and more precisely to a one-fire-camping stove with infrared ceramic slab for outdoor activity and not like camping, picnic, etc. Portable camping stoves of small dimensions to be employed in open places are already famous in the state of the technique, however they can not be used as a small portable heater. They are provided with a cartridge holder base, generally in plastic or metal for pierceable gas cartridges, and a direct flame's burner with a pot's cross support placed on the support plate. The stove can be equipped with a grip as integrating part with the cartridge holder base. All the stoves with direct flame take a lot of time to reach an ideal temperature for the baking because of a not homogenous distribution of the flame and only on a point of the pot. This involves therefore a slow and not homogenous baking of the food with a high fuel consumption, (more than a gas cartridge of 190 grams), spending more time for the single baking function with a limited chance of use. In fact they cannot be used in alternative as small heaters, but only for food baking. That gives origin to the requirement of arranging a portable

stove of easy use and maintenance for a faster cooking with greater power, and alternatively to warm premises or open places with the aid of a diffuser in aluminium, always of small dimensions and using the same gas source and container. In this way the autonomy of the item is optimized to the maximum and its functionalities of use are increased avoiding pointless transports of further gas cartridges and relating fuel waste.

The aim of this innovation is to solve the abovementioned issue supplying a multifunction portable stove (cooker/heater) with one source of direct radiating heat, presenting in the upper part of the diffuser a round infrared ceramic slab where is placed an even round pot's cross support with 3 rays inclined to 120°, as pan's support. Among the room of air/gas mixer and the small cross support there is an infrared ceramic slab radiating itself the heat homogenously. Therefore, there is the advantage of having the maximum of flame's caloric power to be best used for several uses, like cooking, grilling and heating surroundings. In the event the stove is used as heater on the cross support shall be applied a diffuser in aluminium with a round safety grill. The upper part of the stove, composed by ceramic slab and pot's cross support, is easily removable for a proper maintenance, giving the chance to have a portable stove of easy maintenance and, in the event of cleaning, also of easy assembly.

Currently in trade do not exist portable multifunction stoves of small dimensions with such solution and peculiarity that is instead very useful in any situations. According to this innovation a portable stove is supplied consisting in a cartridge holder base, generally in plastic or metal, for pierceable cartridges, with or without handgrip, and one radiating heat source formed by a gas/air mixer room covered by a circular radiating infrared ceramic slab. Its function is to diffuse the heat and is overlapped by a small pot's cross support made of iron with chromed treatment. For the version of the stove/heater a diffuser (or conveyer) in aluminium is supplied and is directly applied on the perimeter of the cross support. Its aim is to convey at the best the heat produced by the same stove. A circular grill in chromed plated steel is applied on the diffuser as safety cover. Manufacturing variations can be applied to the current portable stove like a different surface treatment of the cross support/stove and grill/heater including even its enamelling treatment and any kind of geometric shape of pot's cross support, heater diffuser's grill, infrared ceramic slab or cartridge holder base even in case they are produced in one piece or two or more parts. The same variations can be applied to these parts if their shape is different from the circular one like for example a squared series, triangular series, rectangular or oval, stripes or waves. The present innovation will be better

explained by a description of a preferred realization, as example and not restrictive, referring to the enclosed 18 designs:

1 FIGURE 1 - FRONTAL STOVE VIEW - FRONT. It is a frontal view of a stove in which the substantially particular conformation of "mushroom"-shaped burner/cross support is evidenced. Its concentric shape, has in the inferior side two external recesses forming, with the cross support, 3 steps with bevelled edges. In its inferior and central part of the burner/cross support group there is a pipe element having hexagonal base, with 4 coaxial holes, that is connected with the cartridge holder with a substantially conical element whose diameter is inferior than the base of the cartridge holder. The shell of the cartridge holder is constituted by a base associated to an approximately cylindrical portion having the upper side slightly dome- shaped.

2 FIGURE 2 - FRONTAL STOVE VIEW - BACK SIDE. Back side-view of the stove of previous figure where is emphasized the presence of a cone-shaped grip, that is part of the abovementioned conical element, and is slightly convergent on the lower and upper limbs. Moreover there is also the presence of a gas regulation knob with a round shape.

FIGURE 3 - FRONTAL STOVE SIDE-VIEW - LEFT SIDE. Left side-view of previous figure in which is evident the "L"-shaped grip, being part of the conical element at the base of the burner/cross support. It is noted on the upper side of the grip, laterally of conical element, the gas regulation knob slightly jutting out and partially embedded in a small concavity situated in the upper surface of the grip that is slightly tilted towards the bottom.
