Abstract:
A multifunctional paper nappy comprises a paper excrement receiving bag (15), a
paper diaper (1), a pair of excrement sensing electrodes (12), a pair of urine quantity
sensing electrodes (5), a pair of initial urine wetness sensing electrodes (19),
a detector (22) and a receiver. The paper excrement receiving bag (15) comprises a
permeable film (151) and an impermeable film (153), wherein the pair of excrement sensing
electrodes (12) are disposed between the permeable film (151) and the impermeable
film (153), and the excrement sensing electrodes (12) are connected with the
detector (22) via external connections (13A, 13B; 9A, 9B) and external terminals
(7A, 7B). The paper diaper (1) comprises a permeable layer, an absorbent layer
and an impermeable layer, wherein the pair of urine quantity sensing electrodes (5)
connected with the detector (22) via external connections (6A, 6B) are disposed between
the absorbent layer and an the impermeable layer; and the pair of initial urine
wetness sensing electrodes (19) connected with the detector (22) via external terminals
(20A, 20B) are disposed between the permeable layer and the absorbent layer.
The paper excrement receiving bag (15) is adhered to the upper portion of the paper
diaper (1) by adhesive or self adhesive strip (17). Conductive adhesive strips
adhered directly are used as the excrement sensing electrodes (12), the urine
quantity sensing electrodes (5), the initial urine wetness sensing electrodes (19),
the external connections (13A, 13B; 9A, 9B; 6A, 6B) and the external terminals (7A,
7B; 20A, 20B).
