Abstract:
This multilayer ceramic electronic component comprises: a laminated part in which a plurality of internal electrode layers and a plurality of dielectric layers are laminated in a first direction; a pair of main surface protective layers positioned on both main surfaces of the laminated part in the first direction; a pair of side surface protective layers positioned on both side surfaces of the laminated part and the main surface protective layers in a second direction crossing the first direction; and a plate positioned on both end sides of the main surface protective layers in a third direction crossing the second direction, wherein when the length of the plate in the third direction is L1 and the length from one end surface of the laminated part to an end portion of the internal electrode layer extending from the other end surface of the laminated part in the third direction is L2, L1≥L2 is satisfied.
