Abstract:
Provided is a multilayer coating film forming method involving, in order, a step for coating a specific aqueous first pigmented coating material (X), a specific aqueous second pigmented coating material (Y), and a specific clear coating material (Z) which are coated onto an object to be coated that contains a metal material and a plastic material, and a step for curing these three coating films simultaneously. This multilayer coating film forming method is characterized in that, at wavelengths 360-420nm, the average light transmittance of a cured coating film 5μm thick obtained by coating and curing the aqueous first pigmented coating (X) is less than 1%.
