Description:

DESCRIPTION

"Multilayer film with scores for cooking in microwave oven" Technical field of invention

The present invention concerns the sector of the films for cooking in microwave oven, available in sheets or laminas of various materials, foldable according to predefined directions to obtain a given form with given dimensions to be used according to the same forms and dimensions and the same material they are realized with.

In particular, the present invention can be applied to sheets or laminas of "susceptor" material, used as support to food cooking in microwave oven, to realize various containers, baking-pans, grids, bags and involucres, suitable to confere to the same food the characteristics of gilding and cranchness not otherwise obtainable using the usual plastic or glass containers.

State of the art

Cooking performed in the only microwave oven does not realize any external gilding, nor confers cranchness to the food. For this reason all those foods which normally should have such characteristics, if baked in the microwave oven don't satisfy the consumers tastes.

To obtain said cranchness and external gilding, it is necessary to put the part of food product surface to gild in contact with a susceptor film, inserting everything into a microwave oven; in such a way the food product is

cooking inside and a visible gilding and the eventual cranchness are obtained according to the product itself, which makes it more tasty.

A container embodiment realized with a susceptor film is described in the patent application WO9317532. In it a packaging for fried potatoes in which waved plates are inserted is described.

Patent application WO2005085091 describes a further embodiment of a susceptor container for ring-shaped calces which permits their gilding.

Patent application US2004234653 describes a baking-pan which is used for heating and gilding the food in a microwave oven.

Patent US6534755 shows a baking-pan in which the pizza can be heated and gilded in portions in the microwave oven.

Patent application WO0061456 describes a packaging which realizes a bag by means of which popcorns can be prepared in microwave oven.

A considerable limitation of the inventions mentioned before consists in the fact that only an extremely limited number of food products is already sold with its specific susceptor involucre. It is difficult to find an involucre of appropriate dimensions for other food products already prepared in the house to cook in the microwave oven making them assume a pleasant gilding and cranchness especially for hand made food products which have no standard measures.

These and other difficulties and disadvantages can be overcome by usage of the present invention which main aim is that to realize sheets or laminas of

various material, and in particular of "susceptor" material, provided with parallel scores having at least two different dimensions in order to be easily foldable according to the directions defined by said scores, in order to conform them in containers, baking-pans, grids, bags and various involucres of different forms and dimensions.

A particular characteristics is given by the fact that the film is foldable along transversal and longitudinal scores in order to realize the boards of a baking- pan, which after having lifted said boards to 90° form limbs in the corners, that said limbs are foldable along the scores up to be flatted on the boards and which are blockable on said boards by means of springs which press the limbs to the boards.

Other particular characteristics is given by the fact that the film object of present invention is foldable in two along a transversal score, which is subsequently foldable on the side opened along a transversal score and on another side along a longitudinal score, and that the folded boards are blocked with springs in order to form a bag.

Other particular characteristics is given by the fact that the film is modellable in order to form a cylindrical involucre, by folding the opposite boards along the transversal scores and blocking them with springs. Other particular characteristics is given by the fact that the film is foldable along the parallel scores, in one direction and in the other one in order to form a waved plate.

Other characteristics and advantages of the invention will be clear from the following description of some embodiments as a non limitative example on the figures 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8.

Brief description of the figures

Fig. 2 absonometry of an intermediate step to realize a container;

Fig. 3 absonometry of subsequent step to realize a container;

Fig. 4 absonometry of a realized container;

Fig. 5 a view of a scored film folded in two;

Fig. 6 realization of a bag with scored sheet;

Fig. 7 realization of a cylindrical involucre on the base of a scored sheet; Fig. 8 a film folded according to parallel scores in order to obtain a bellows form.

Detailed description of one embodiment of the invention

With reference to the figure 1, a film (1), constituted by a sheet formed, for example, at least by one layer of cardboard and one of metal material, is fabricated industrially with transversal scores (2), realized, in the example on the figure, with a constant on the entire length of the film itself step, and

with longitudinal scores (3), realized with the same step of the transversal scores. The transversal and longitudinal scores form a series of regular quadrangles on the entire surface of the sheet. The film (1), besides, presents diagonal scores (4, 5) of all quadrangles, both in one direction and in the opposite one. The multilayer film can be realized with a susceptor film for microwave cooking. The film for microwave cooking can, naturally, be different from susceptor films mentioned here as a non limitative example. With reference to the figure 2 it is possible to realize with simple operations a container (6) of baking-pan form. The film (1) is folded along determined transversal scores (2) to realize the boards (7) and along determined longitudinal scores (3) to realize the boards (8). After having lifted the boards (7, 8) to 90°, the limbs (9) are formed folding the sheet according to the scores (4, 5).

With reference to the figure 3, the limbs (9) are folded along the scores (2, 3) up to flatting them on the boards (7). As one can see from figure 4, the limbs (9) are blocked on the boards (7) by means of springs (10) which press said limbs (9) to the boards (7).

With reference to the figure 5, a film (1), object of present invention, is folded in two along a certain transversal score (2).

With reference to figure 6, the film (1) folded in two along said determined transversal score (2), is folded subsequently along a determined transversal score (2), in correspondence of the opened side and subsequently along a

determined longitudinal score (3), in correspondence of another opened side contiguous to the first one. The folded boards are blocked by means of the springs (10).

With reference to the figure 7, a film (1) is rolled up to form a cylindrical involucre. Both boards of the sheet are folded along a determined transversal score (2) and blocked with springs (10).

With reference to the figure 8, a film (1) is folded along the transversal scores (T), in one directions and in the another to form a waved plate.

The invention, certainly, is not limited, to the representation of the figures, but can receive perfections and modifications from men skilled in the art, without going out of the patent frames.

Present invention permits numerous advantages and, particularly, allows to overcome the difficulties that could not be surmounted using the systems that are actually in commerce.
