Abstract:
The present invention provides a multilayer selection element, which controls a threshold voltage to exhibit a low leakage current. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the multilayer selection element comprises: a substrate; a lower electrode layer positioned on the substrate; an insulation layer positioned on the lower electrode layer, and including a via hole formed therein to expose the lower electrode layer; a switching layer, which is positioned on the lower electrode layer within the via hole, performs a switching operation by means of the formation and the destruction of a conductive filament and has multiple layers to control the formation of the conductive filament; and an upper electrode layer positioned on the switching layer.
