Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a multilayer syringe barrel manufacturing method wherein when cutting off gate residue on the nozzle portion of the multilayer syringe barrel, there are no burrs on the cut surface after cutting, no peeling of the multilayer structure occurs at the nozzle portion, and no sharp corners that may damage a cap are present on the nozzle portion. The above problem can be addressed by the following manufacturing method. This manufacturing method for a multilayer syringe barrel comprises: a finish cutting step for cutting off the gate residue on the nozzle portion of the multilayer syringe barrel injection-molded from the nozzle tip with the cutting blade of an ultrasonic cutting device that is equipped with a mechanism for suppressing abnormal vibrations; and an irradiation step for irradiating the corner of the nozzle portion formed in the finish cutting step with laser light.
