Title:
MULTILEVEL MODULATION OPTICAL TRANSCEIVER DEVICE AND MULTILEVEL MODULATION OPTICAL TRANSCEIVER METHOD
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2014/155515
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is a multilevel modulation optical transceiver device for distributing the OTN frame to a plurality of lanes and transmitting same, comprising: an MLD transmission unit (12) which carries out a barrel shift, which is defined by OTN-MLD, upon an OTN frame (3) which is defined by ITU-T; and a data replication unit (13) which carries out a data replication process with data replication among a plurality of lanes upon the OTN frame after the barrel shift is carried out. The multilevel modulation optical transceiver device further comprises a data sorting unit (11) which is disposed before the MLD transmission unit, and carries out a data sorting process wherein a frame synchronization pattern (300) of an overhead (30) of the OTN frame prior to the barrel shift being carried out is pre-replicated from a first lane having the overhead to another lane which does not have the overhead, and a payload (31) which is overwritten by the frame synchronization pattern is withheld to an overhead reserve region (301) to allow restoration at the receiving side.
