Title:
MULTILEVEL-SIGNAL TRANSMISSION SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2013/157195
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A multilevel-signal transmission device (100) transmits a multilevel data signal having a number of voltages equal to M, which is an even number that is 4 or higher, and a multilevel clock signal having M-2 voltage levels, to a multilevel-signal reception device (200). The multilevel-data-signal voltage levels include M/2 first voltage levels which are larger than a reference voltage level, and M/2 second voltage levels which are smaller than the reference voltage level. One of the multilevel-clock-signal voltage levels is positioned between each pair of mutually adjacent multilevel-data-signal first voltage levels, and one of the multilevel-clock-signal voltage levels is positioned between each pair of mutually adjacent multilevel-data-signal second voltage levels. The average value of the multilevel-clock-signal voltage levels is a value between the minimum value among the multilevel-data-signal first voltage levels and the maximum value among the multilevel-data-signal second voltage levels.
