Abstract:

Provided are a multimedia file processing method, a multimedia file processing apparatus and a terminal. The multimedia file processing method comprises: according to attributes of an acquired multimedia file, selecting a designated operating system for processing the multimedia file from multiple operating systems; and using the designated operating system to process the multimedia file. By means of the technical solution of the present invention, in an ordinary system, only a designated operating system can be called to perform processing, such as coding and decoding, on a multimedia file having sensitive information, thereby improving the security of the sensitive information, protecting the privacy of a user and greatly improving the user experience. In addition, the technical solution of the present invention replaces the technical solution in the prior art of performing secondary encryption on the file having the sensitive information, thereby reducing the cost for protecting the sensitive information.
