Abstract:
The present invention relates to a multiphase high-precision current-sharing control method applied to constant on-time (COT) control. In the control method, continuously sampled current difference magnitudes between currents and an average current are subjected to a PI compensation module and a low-pass filtering module, so as to obtain an on-time adjustment amount, wherein the value of a reference value Vref of a counter in an on-time control module is controlled by means of a high level of the adjustment amount, and the length of an enabled delay line in a delay line module is controlled by means of a low level thereof; and the counter timing control of the on-time control module is combined with the delay line timing control of the delay line module, thereby improving the control precision of a digital pulse width modulator. The present invention is typically applied to COT control of a Buck converter. Compared with a multiphase COT controller without a current-sharing mechanism, the present invention can make a system ensure, in a steady-state operation condition, that direct current amounts of inductive currents are consistent, thereby improving the stability and reliability of the system.
