Abstract:
According to the present invention, a first filter (11) of a multiplexer (1) has a ladder filter structure that is configured from a plurality of series resonators (111s–114s) and a plurality of parallel resonators (111p–113p). The resonators (111s–114s, 111p–113p) are elastic wave resonators that have an IDT electrode that is configured from a pair of comb-like electrodes. The IDT electrode of the series resonator (111s) that, of the series resonators (111s–114s), is closest to a common terminal and/or the IDT electrode of the parallel resonator (111p) that is closest to the common terminal is/are larger than the IDT electrodes of the remaining resonators (112s–114s, 112p, 113p) with respect to the weight of a portion that has a unit area when a substrate on which the resonators are formed is seen in plan view.
