Abstract:
This multiply-accumulate device executes a multiply-accumulate operation with an analog circuit, and comprises a plurality of input lines, a plurality of multiplication parts, an accumulation part, a charging part, and an output part. The plurality of input lines receives inputs of pulse signals having pulse durations based on inputted values. On the basis of the pulse signals inputted into each of the plurality of input lines, the plurality of multiplication parts generates charges which correspond to multiplication values obtained by multiplying the inputted values by load values. The accumulation part accumulates the sum of the charges corresponding to the multiplication values generated by each of the plurality of multiplication parts. The charging part charges the accumulation part, wherein the sum of the charges corresponding to the multiplication values is accumulated, by a charging speed associated with an accumulation state of the accumulation part. The output part outputs an accumulation signal which represents the sum of the multiplication values by executing a threshold determination using a threshold which is associated with the accumulation state of the accumulation part with regard to a voltage retained by the accumulation part after the commencement of the charging by the charging part.
