Abstract:
A multiprojection system for projecting a single large image by patching images projected on a screen (2) by image projectors (1A, 1B). The multiprojection system comprises image acquiring means (3A, 3B) for capturing the images projected on the screen (2) by the image projectors (1A, 1B) from different positions their relative positional relationship of which is known and for acquiring parallax image data, image correction data calculating means (4) for estimating the three-dimensional position of each point of the image projected on the screen (2) on the basis of the acquired parallax image data and the information on the relative positional relationship and calculating correction data for correcting the images inputted into the image projectors (1A, 1B), and image correcting means (5) for correcting the images inputted into the image projectors (1A, 1B) according to the calculated correction data.
