Abstract:
A multitenancy management method and apparatus. In the present method, whether deployment locations of a container object invoked by a VNF instance and another container object invoked by the VNF instance are in a same spatial range is indicated by indication information to meet the isolation requirement of deployment of the VNF instance, so that the security of the VNF instance can be ensured; moreover, the spatial range, such as a container cluster or a namespace, is typically created by an NFVO. In said solution, a VNFM can request, according to an identifier of a tenant carried in an instantiation request of a VNF, a CISM to deploy, according to the indication information, a container object in a spatial range managed by the CISM, so that a situation where the VNFM needs to learn the spatial range in which the container object is deployed before managing the container object can be avoided.
