Abstract:
Provided is a napped artificial leather including: an entangled fiber bundle body that includes fiber bundles comprising ultrafine fibers; and 5-20 mass% of polyurethane with which the entangled fiber bundle body is impregnated. The polyurethane includes continuous regions having a linear length of at least 50 μm, first fiber bundles in which the outer periphery is joined to the continuous regions, and second fiber bundles in which the outer periphery is not joined to the continuous regions but the continuous regions are nearby at distances within the radius of the fiber bundles from the outer periphery thereof. The continuous regions do not enter the interior of the fiber bundles, the sum of the number of first fiber bundles and the number of second fiber bundles is at least 40% of the total number of fiber bundles, and the number of first fiber bundles is 40-70% of the sum of the number of first fiber bundles and the number of second fiber bundles.
