Description:
NASAL EDEMA REMOVER

Technical Field

The invention relates to the distribution and reduction of edema as a result of the application of pressure by rotating and rubbing the silicone caps on the nasal skin by means of a nasal edema reducing device.

The State of Art

After the rhinoplasty operation, patients are recommended by their physicians to massage their edematous noses using their fingers in order to clear the edema and restore it to its final shape. However, there is no existing device that stimulates this massage. With the finger massage method, the same pressure and friction are not applied to both sides of the nose, so that an asymmetrical nose occurs after the massage.

Aim of the invention

It is aimed to reduce edema by rubbing with the same pressure ratio on both sides of the nose, which is more stable than the known technique.

Accordingly, the patient will be able to prevent asymmetric massage with his fingers and be able to massage for a longer time without getting bored.

Thanks to this invention, the patient will get rid of edema in a shorter time compared to massage with his fingers and will reach the desired result faster.

With the invention, the patient will be able to make a more controlled softness adjustment than his fingers and prevent the irritation of the nose.

Detailed Description of the Invention

The invention provides great convenience to the patient in edema massage, by the clockwise and counterclockwise rotation of silicone/rubber caps (1) coated on plastic rods (2), the plastic rods (2) being fixed to the body (8) by bearings (3) and driven by two DC motors (4) that are fixed to the body (8) with retaining plastic clips (5) and switched on and off using the power switch (7) located in the body (8) of the device with silicone caps (1) that provides healing of edema and swelling after nose surgery and operated by using batteries or DC adapter power supply (6). The caps (1) can be silicone or rubber.

The patient can use the invention by plugging the plug in the socket or use it with a battery. The device is activated by operating the power switch (7) on the device. By holding the device from the case, the circularly rotating silicone caps (1) are brought closer to the nose skin from the back of the nose towards the nostrils and the massage is started by applying the desired pressure. The patient will have massaged as long as he/she carries on this procedure and will have stopped massaging when he/she stops the application. It will be used at regular intervals depending on the shape and edema of the nose, and when the edema decreases or completely disappears, the patient's need is met.

The visuals presented in the pictures section are for easy understanding and cannot be included in the claims. The elements mentioned in the claims may differ in shape and production method.
