Title:
NATURAL GAS LIQUEFACTION PROCESS WITH REFRIGERANT SEPARATION
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2011/136544
Kind Code:
A3
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a natural gas liquefaction process which allows easy operation of the liquefaction system even though only a single refrigeration cycle is used and thus entails a straightforward liquefaction process and a compact system whereby a separator means is used in order to precisely separate the refrigerant into a heavy key portion and a light key portion according to the required composition, with one refrigerant flow being used to pre-cool the natural gas in a first heat-exchange zone and the other refrigerant flow being used to liquefy the natural gas in a second heat-exchange zone, and thus the natural gas liquefaction efficiency is outstanding.
