Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing: a near-infrared-absorbing composition which has excellent near-infrared absorbing ability and in which dispersibility of a metal complex, particularly a copper complex, and dispersion stability (moisture resistance) when water is mixed therein are enhanced; a near-infrared-absorbing film formed using the same; and an image sensor for a solid-state imaging element provided with the near-infrared-absorbing film. This near-infrared-absorbing composition is characterized by containing a near-infrared absorbent and a solvent, the near-infrared absorbent containing component (A) and/or component (B) below. Component (A): a component comprising a metal ion and a compound having a structure represented by general formula (I). Component (B): a component comprising a metal complex obtained by reaction of a metal compound and a compound having a structure represented by general formula (I).
