Abstract:
A near-to-eye display device and method. The near-to-eye display device comprises: a display panel (110) and a lens module (120). The display panel (110) comprises a plurality of display areas (115) arranged in an array; each display area (115) comprises at least one pixel unit; the lens module (120) comprises a plurality of micro-lenses (125) arranged in an array; the plurality of micro-lenses (125) include a plurality of deflecting micro-lenses (127); the distance from the ends of the deflecting micro-lenses (127) proximate to the center of the lens module (120) to the display panel (110) is smaller than the distance from the ends distant from the center of the lens module (120) to the display panel (110); each display area (115) corresponds to at least one micro-lens (125), and adjacent portions of two adjacent display areas (115) correspond to two different micro-lenses (125), which include at least one deflecting micro-lens (127); the deflecting micro-lenses (127) are configured to enable virtual images generated by two adjacent display areas (115) by means of the lens module (120) not to be overlapped.
