Abstract:
A needle plate and knitting needle combination for a flat knitting machine, and a knitting needle selection mechanism. The needle plate and knitting needle combination comprises a needle plate (1), a plurality of parallel knocking-over pieces (13) arranged at the front end of the needle plate (1), knitting needles (51, 52) arranged in needle slots (11, 111, 112), stitches, and knitting needle selection units (3a, 3b, 3c, 3d), wherein two knitting needles (51, 52), which are arranged in parallel and can respectively complete looping knitting, tucking knitting and loop transfer knitting, are arranged in the needle slots (11, 111, 112) between two adjacent knocking-over pieces (13); the stitches comprise control stitches (60, 63, 64, 65, 66) and elastic stitches (61, 62), and the control stitches (60, 63, 64, 65, 66), the elastic stitches (61, 62) and the knitting needle selection units (3a, 3b, 3c, 3d) form the knitting needle selection mechanism; the two elastic stitches (61, 62) are respectively connected to the two knitting needles (51, 52), the control stitches (60, 63, 64, 65, 66) are connected above the two elastic stitches (61, 62) in an embedded manner; the knitting needle selection units (3a, 3b, 3c, 3d) are arranged above the two elastic stitches (61, 62) and can act on the elastic stitches (61, 62), the acted-on elastic stitches (61, 62) generate elastic deformation so as to be disengaged from an embedded fit with the control stitches (60, 63, 64, 65, 66), and the knitting needles (51, 52) connected to the elastic stitches (61, 62) do not work, such that the double-needle-plate flat knitting machine provided with the needle plate and knitting needle combination can achieve one-piece knitting with a normal density.
