Abstract:
An objective of the present invention is to provide a needle-shaped body, the interior of which is filled with a freeze-dried medicinal fluid. A needle-shaped body (10) is prepared upon one surface of a substrate, said needle-shaped body (10) comprising a needle-shaped part (102) and a hollow hole (103) in the needle-shaped part. The leading end part of the needle-shaped part (102) is treated with a water-repellent process. Thereafter, the needle-shaped body (10) and a medicinal fluid are positioned in reduced pressure, the hollow hole (103) of the needle-shaped body (10) and the surface of the medicinal fluid are brought into contact, and with atmospheric pressure (first pressure) applied with the hollow hole (103) of the needle-shaped body (10) and the surface of the medicinal fluid in contact, the hollow hole (103) is filled with the medicinal fluid. Thereafter, the medicinal fluid with which the hollow hole (103) is filled is freeze-dried.
