Abstract:
The present invention more suitably adjusts the pressure at the tip section of a shaft in an actuator that picks up a workpiece with the shaft by generating a negative pressure at the tip section of the shaft. This negative pressure-generating structure to be applied to an actuator includes: an insertion hole through which the shaft is inserted with a gap between a wall and the shaft; an internal space formed inside the negative pressure-generating structure and interconnecting with a hollow section of the shaft through an interconnection hole formed in the shaft; and an air passage connected to the internal space and serving as a passage for air when air within the internal space is suctioned to generate negative pressure at the tip section of the shaft.
