Abstract:
Provided are a network configuration method and apparatus. The network configuration method comprises: packetizing data needed for completing network configuration, selecting a plurality of packets from the packetized data, and acquiring the total length of data in the plurality of packets; performing multicast broadcast address modulation on indexes of the plurality of packets to obtain a multicast target address; and parsing the data in the plurality of packets according to the total length of the data in the plurality of packets and the multicast target address, and repeating the above steps until the parsing of the data required for the network configuration is completed. According to the present invention, an encoding scheme of a code-rate-free erasure code is integrated with multicast address modulation and packet length modulation, so that the problem of time and resources being greatly wasted due to a continuous carousel of all the data when an IoT device end does not correctly receive the data is avoided, the performance of the Internet of Things device in a network configuration process is optimized, the transmission of redundant information is avoided, the network configuration success rate is increased, and the network configuration time is optimized.
