Abstract:
Provided are a network connection method and apparatus, and an electronic device. The method comprises: positioning a terminal, and acquiring geographical position information about the terminal; searching for a designated WI-FI hotspot around the terminal according to the geographical position information; looking up, in a database, a password corresponding to the designated WI-FI hotspot; and automatically connecting the terminal to the designated WI-FI hotspot via the password. By means of the present application, the problem in the prior art that a user needs to input a password in order to connect to a WI-FI hotspot is solved, thereby improving the efficiency and the success rate of a WI-FI connection.
