Abstract:
The present disclosure provides a network connection method and apparatus, a terminal, and a base station. The method comprises: during the execution of a network access or reconfiguration process, if it is determined that a first protection bandwidth is greater than a second protection bandwidth, adjusting the first protection bandwidth and/or the second protection bandwidth by adjusting a service bandwidth, so that the first protection bandwidth is smaller than or equal to the second protection bandwidth, wherein the first protection bandwidth is a protection bandwidth corresponding to a capability bandwidth of a terminal, and the second protection bandwidth is a protection bandwidth corresponding to a system bandwidth of a base station; and executing access or reconfiguration of the terminal to the base station according to the first protection bandwidth and the second protection bandwidth.
