Abstract:
The embodiments of the present application disclose a network element determination method and device. When a consumer network element needs to acquire a service function, the consumer network element can send, to a forwarding node, a service request comprising a service identifier corresponding to the required service function. The forwarding node can determine an identifier set according to the service identifier, identification information included in the identifier set being used for identifying a service provider network element providing the service function, and can determine state prediction information of the service provider network element on the basis of the identification information, the state prediction information being used for identifying a state change trend of the service provider network element. When a target service provider network element responding to the service request is determined, the state prediction information can be used as a determination basis, such that the state change trend of a determined target service provider node in the future can meet the service requirements of the consumer network element, thereby improving the stability of an indirect communication mode.
