Abstract:
Provided are a network failure processing method and device, the method comprising: acquiring a first data amount of uplink data sent by a terminal device within a pre-set duration; acquiring a second data amount of downlink packet data received by the terminal device within the pre-set duration; and when it is determined that the first data amount is greater than a first threshold value and the second data amount is equal to zero, re-establishing a radio resource control (RRC) connection and/or re-acquiring an Internet protocol (IP) connection resource. The invention realises the automatic detection and repair of downlink packet data link failures, thereby improving the usage experience of a user.
