Abstract:
A network management technique is provided with which it is possible to efficiently acquire a wide variety of data transmitted from a terminal while reducing congestion on the network. A network management system equipped with: a plurality of terminals that can transmit data; a plurality of destination devices that perform a prescribed process on the basis of the data; a relay device disposed among the terminals and destination devices; and a management device that can communicate with the terminals, the destination devices, and the relay device, wherein the management device receives requests relating to required data from the plurality of destination devices, and instructs the relay device to integrate the data to be relayed to each destination device. On the basis of the instruction, the relay device that received the instruction identifies and integrates the data to be relayed for each of the plurality of destination devices among the data transmitted from the plurality of terminals, and transmits the integrated data to each of the plurality of destination devices.
