Abstract:

Provided is an invalidity determination method for detecting that a necessary bandwidth for network communication has an invalid value. This network monitor (101) for determining the validity of a bandwidth used in a network communication path is provided with: a bandwidth database (103) containing a whitelist in which bandwidths are determined by specification for respective data communication types, or feasible bandwidths during normal use, are stipulated; a bandwidth securement determination unit (104) for comparing the value of an actually requested bandwidth with those in the bandwidth database (103); and a result transmission unit (106) for transmitting the comparison result.
