Abstract:
Disclosed is a network resource management method, comprising: a resource information server receiving a query request which is sent by a resource scheduling server and carries a performance requirement for a first network resource, so as to determine, according to the available capability of an existing first network resource, the first network resource (called a matched first network resource) meeting the performance requirement, and to return an identifier of the matched first network resource, wherein the first network resource is any one of a CSI, an NSI, an NSSI or an NF; and then, the resource information server further receiving an update request which carries an identifier of an allocated first network resource, and updating the available capability of the allocated first network resource, wherein the allocated first network resource is in the matched first network resource. According to the method, the allocation of a first network resource can be based on the available capability of an existing first network resource, and the available capability of the allocated first network resource is updated in a timely manner after the allocation, thereby improving the feasibility and efficiency of network resource management.
