Abstract:
Embodiments of the present application provide a network switching method and apparatus for a voice service. The method comprises: a mobility management network element of a first network receives first information from an access network device of the first network, the first information being used for indicating the switching of a terminal device from the first network to a second network; the mobility management network element of the first network sends second information to a mobility management network element of a third network according to the first information, the second information being used for instructing the mobility management network element of the third network sends a switching request to a mobile switching network element of the second network, and the switching request being used for switching a voice service of the terminal device to the second network. By means of the communication between the first network and the third network and the communication between the third network and the second network, the terminal device can switch the voice service to the second network, thereby achieving the continuity of the voice service, and solving the problem of being unable to implement a voice service by the terminal device.
