Abstract:
Provided is a neutron scintillator formed from a resin composition comprising (A) an inorganic phosphor containing at least one neutron-capturing isotope selected from lithium 6 and boron 10, and (B) a resin. The neutron scintillator is characterized in that the inorganic phosphor is particles having a specific surface area of 50 to 3,000 cm2/cm3 and the internal transmittance of the resin composition per optical path length of 1 cm is 30%/cm or greater at the emission wavelength of the inorganic phosphor.
