Disclosed is a new energy automobile based on the Internet of Vehicles and having an ultrasonic ranging function, the new energy automobile comprising an automobile body (1). Two receiving blocks (2) are fixedly mounted at the top of the automobile body (1). A receiving groove (3) is provided in the top of each of the receiving blocks (2), and a butt-joint block (4), one end of which penetrates and extends to the upper portion of the respective receiving block (2), is movably mounted in the receiving groove (3). According to the new energy automobile based on the Internet of Vehicles and having an ultrasonic ranging function, by means of a buffer sleeved rod (14) arranged on a transverse plate (5), when the automobile body runs on an uneven road, the transverse plate (5) vibrates and receives impact, a carrier plate (15), when moving downwards, compresses the buffer sleeved rod (14), the buffer sleeved rod (14) buffers part of the impact, a piston rod (19) is pulled downwards when the carrier plate (15) moves downwards, air pressure in an air cylinder (18) is changed to counteract part of the impact, and therefore impact vibration borne finally by an ultrasonic range finder is greatly reduced, and the ultrasonic range finder is not easily damaged.
