Abstract:
Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment may determine, while registered with a non-standalone network, whether a count of radio resource control (RRC) connection releases during a release timer satisfies a release threshold based at least in part on adding a secondary cell group to access a New Radio (NR) data service, and disable transmission of NR measurement reports based at least in part on determining that the count of RRC connection releases satisfies the release threshold.
