Abstract:
Disclosed in the present application are a nickel-containing electrode, and a preparation method therefor and the use thereof. The nickel-containing electrode sequentially comprises a nickel-containing metal layer and a nickel-containing nitride layer from inside to outside, wherein in the direction away from the nickel-containing metal layer, the molar content of nitrogen in the nickel-containing nitride layer first increases and then decreases from inside to outside. In the present application, the surface of the nickel-containing electrode is rich in high-activity sites with performance close to that of the precious metal platinum, such that the electrode has a higher hydrogen yield than a currently available metal nickel or nickel alloy electrode in the case where the additional voltage and other conditions are the same; compared with a surface particle type electrode, the electrode, by virtue of the three-dimensional independent integrated configuration thereof, not only has a higher unit mass activity, but also has a higher stability; in addition, the electrode is simple and convenient in terms of a synthesis process, economical in terms of raw materials and low in terms of overall manufacturing cost, and has a relatively high large-scale application potential.
